I’ve never felt so out of the loop than I have with the Entourage hype. The television series by-passed me and only piqued my interest when I found out that luscious Jeremy Piven was involved. So you’ll have to excuse my complete lack of interest or knowledge because apparently we have a brand new trailer and fans of the show are heavily excited. Ok.
Entourage revolves around a bunch of friends trying to make it big in LA with Piven’s Ari Gold and his pal Vincent trying to live it up Hollywood style. Only, instead of being outside of industry loop hole, Gold is now a Super-Agent and studio head, landing Vinny the lead role of a major film. Only his friend wants to direct it and unfortunately, it means the pair begin to clash. Then the other guys are doing something else and their children involved as the characters have “matured”… It’s a very “ok” trailer.
There are a bunch of cameos, of course but this will only thrill those who genuinely loved the television series. For everyone else, it is very blasé.
