The first clip is when Harry shows Lloyd the apartment they used to share. There’s a reference to Breaking Bad that isn’t absolutely stupid but that’s the only saving grace (in the loosest term possible) to describe this clip. There’s a general feeling of what kind of humour this film is going for and if it’s anything like this clip, it misses the mark completely and is just plain silly.
| The second clip is Lloyd being questioned about Harry by a security guard. This clip is short and that’s to its credit because the main joke they go for is painfully unfunny. It feels like the script had been left incomplete until the day of the shoot, someone realised and just put something in for the actors rather than letting them ad-lib. Even the cast don’t appear to be trying: the clip feels like a waste of time. |
The third clip shows Harry trying to call his daughter who he hasn’t seen. Initially it starts off nicely with Harry seemingly very excited to speak to his daughter but that quickly fades away with the comedy of errors moment with Lloyd picking up the phone and the implausible moment of them not realising who they’re actually talking to ensues.
