We have less than a month. Avengers: Age of Ultron will be hitting our screens April 23rd. And as if that wasn’t exciting enough we now have a TV spot to fill us in on the ‘Super Siblings’ Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. Watching Quicksilver gloat over his shoulder ‘You didn’t see that coming?’ and realising that YES HE WILL BE RUSSIAN was my favourite highlight of the last trailer.
In case you’ve been living in a cave, Avengers: Age of Ultron is the latest addition to the hugely successful Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ultron, an evil cyborg/world destroyer who threatens to erase mankind’s very existence, aided by Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, and it’s up to the Avengers to stop them.
This TV spot illustrates just how much of a threat the super siblings pose to the Avengers. With Quicksilvers immense speed, ‘as fast, or almost as fast as a speeding bullet’ and Scarlet Witchs’ telepathic abilities already causing trouble for Tony Stark, these two are certainly formidable opponents. I’m very excited about watching these twin orphans in action.
Keep watching until the end to catch a glimpse at another new character, Vision. Hopefully we will be able to see more of the elusive AI soon!
