Everyone has had those days, haven’t they? One of those terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day where everything goes wrong. It crops up for lucky people once in a blue moon, for some every month, for little one a week and for Alexander, the titular hero of Disney’s latest comedy, every single day. So what could be worse than having bad days constantly, repeatedly and to no avail? Being surrounded by people who seemingly have it better than you, and they are all your family, scooped up in the blessings of their life to see how frustrating yours is.
These brand new clips from Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day highlight some of the family bliss that looks set to topple throughout the film. Showcasing the technological and internet lingo that has intercepted our average lives, the aptly named “XOXO” and “#Blessed” are there to hammer home just how delightful there family hub is. Alexander, the second youngest, is celebrating a birthday that has been overshadowed by a classmates as well as What these clips show from the film is that there isn’t any maliciousness involved, this is a family with a lot of heart and it sews the seeds of scattiness that predicts the bad day that’s going to follow. You can smell the disaster as each member gets excited about the coming events. There is also a delightful little seen with a controlling and weird girlfriend of Alexander’s older brother Anthony which, you know, kinda hope ends before the film is out.
