That’s the story told here in the aptly named 10,000 KM (or Long Distance). The film revolves around a Spanish couple. Alexandra and Sergi, living happily in Barcelona who are torn apart when she is sent to an LA scholarship. With the use of technology and the will of their love, the pair try to keep their love alive but with obvious difficulties. Can their relationship stand the test of time?
Starring Harry Potter and Game of Thrones actress Natalie Tena opposite David Verdaguer, this looks like an incredibly poignant film that will capture your spirit. As well as this, I guess it is a testament to how important technology can be and how love truly triumphs over difficulties. The debut director Carlos Marques-Marcet this imagery and power of the story looks to be utterly enthralling.
10,000 KM is out some time this year.
