Greetings traveller of the forgotten wastes! The IWGCast team bring you an extra special episode this week! We’re all together in one place for a podcast which is much more personal than the others, delivered to you through a cold, computer screen. We were bit pressed for time though, so we just ran through the big news of recent times.
First up, it’s the Oscars. Sarah gives us her run down on what went wrong at the BAFTAs, and her opinions on who will win what next Sunday. Why not join her whilst she live-tweets the whole event?
Next, it’s onto the new trailer from Guardians of the Galaxy. We are incredibly excited for this film now, and can’t wait until it comes out this August. We also talk about Chris Pratt, and Sarah and Graham serenade you with a short rendition of “Everything is Awesome” from The Lego Movie.
Following the trailer, we talk about rumours for a Black Widow movie, and the new teaser trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Technically, it’s a spoiler, but we think that it’s not quite what it all seems…

We also talk about the Fantastic Four casting announcements. All in all, we’re not too bothered. But we’d rather the Fantastic Four were reabsorbed into the Marvel film studios, it’s long overdue.
Finally, we move onto the DC side of casting announcements, namely Jesse Eisenburg is confirmed as Lex Luthor. Again, as with the Fantastic Four, we’re not too concerned, although Sarah isn’t too pleased with his voice. We also talk how different Marvel and DC are with their approach to films, and Arrow series three has now been announced. Unfortunately Will is the only one of us who’s seen the second series, so there’s not much to say.
And that’s it. We’ll see you next time with games and more. So until then, don’t go anywhere.
