I never thought, in a million years, that I would say anything bad about lesbian sex. And yet, here I am. Though I largely enjoy the titillation in the episodes of Orange is The New Black, especially because focusing energies on showcasing a spectrum of female orgasms is innovative and pleasing, a friend brought up a massive fact. In Season Two, there seems to be a lot more sex than Season One. As mentioned, it’s rather refreshing to see ladies get to it without the male gaze over sexualising it but at times through series two it becomes distracting and takes away from the story. None of that is more apparent than with Nicky and Big Boo’s “bang off.” Nevertheless, Orange Is The New Black is one of the more enjoyable series of recent years.

Ok, so some of you bound in cuffs and furnished with bright colours may not exactly be able to raise your hand so nod your head furtively. Ok. So only a handful of you are pacing yourselves while the rest have gone all crazy eyes because they have binged on its goodness and are never recovering, ever. Never mind, let’s keep the spirit alive as we take you through the entire Orange Is The New Black Season Two week by week. And yes, it gets even better. by Cookie N Screen This week saw the glorious return of Netflix original series Orange Is The New Black. The show, revolving around the tale of Piper Chapman as she navigates a brand new life inside a federal prison for women. The first season was met with critical acclaim and now the entire second series is available for us to peruse for our enjoyment. A revolutionary and evocative series, this is not one to be missed. The great opening episode concentrated on Pipers transformation from solitary confinement to await her trial. And though that episode was brilliant, everyone was wondering exactly what is happening to our inmates at Litchfield prison. In a new overview of the series, week by week, we’ll be taking you through the second series of Orange is the New Black. by Cookie N Screen Netflix have truly hit their stride with original television series. So they may have gone wayward with the dismal Hemlock Grove but they have struck gold, or well, orange with this show. Orange Is The New Black has accumulated a diverse and vibrant audience, hitting every target with every episode (a rarity for any series.) Showcasing behind the bars of a women’s correctional facility and based on true to life memoirs of Piper Kerman sentenced to a year due to trafficking drug money for her then girlfriend (who is in the same prison.) And it all begins with one of the best title sequences of all time. by Cookie N Screen At the end of last year, I had a bout of sickness that could only be cured by excessive amounts of Netflix and feeling sorry for myself. The problem with being ill is that nothing seems appealing apart from gallons of Mean Girls and Moulin Rouge! It’s like a mother’s embrace or chicken soup, these movies soothe you into their bosom. My sickness was conflicting with something else, my urge to find something new and feel satisfied with the outcome. And then, in the haze of dizziness come a television show so brilliant that not only did I watch one episode, I watched the whole damn series. That series, was Orange Is The New Black. by Cookie N Screen There are only fifty one seconds of this clip. Fifty one seconds. That is a miniscule amount. There is not much that one can do with fifty one seconds. Breathe a couple of times, walk a couple of steps, say a couple of lines and flail a little bit. But the writers behind the genius Netflix original took a look at fifty one seconds, laughed a little bit and sandwiched in a tantalising opening to Orange Is The New Black. So not only do we have the brand new trailer for you. BUT we have a sneak peak on exactly how Orange Is The New Black is going to start. And it is delicious, egg on the wall delicious. |
