As implied in its title, the Season Seven finale of The Big Bang Theory brought with it chaos, as the announcement of Penny and Leonard’s engagement prompted a downwards spiral for Sheldon. Clearly fuelled by the successes of the last episode, the writers continued to be on form, bringing together all of the characters to react to Leonard and Penny’s news whilst tying off loose ends most satisfyingly.

With only one episode to go until the Season Finale, this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory was bound to be something special and it certainly delivered in adding a dramatic turn of events to the series. The episode ushered in the return of the disastrous killer-Gorilla movie, an accident involving Mrs. Wolowitz and, if that wasn’t enough, a surprise proposal.

The highly anticipated Star Wars themed episode of The Big Bang Theory has arrived, and it’s an agreeable mix of sombre events and light-hearted humour, which balance out the episode, not making it too dark or heavy. Assisting in the episode creation is LucasFilms, and as expected, the Star Wars-related puns are out in full force, and there are a couple of great ones involving food from Howard and Raj; and continuing the food theme is Bernadette and Amy, who concoct a Star Wars ‘Death Star’ cake.

Following on from the highs of a successful episode last week, ‘The Relationship Diremption’ sees the split of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and a great love (no, it isn’t Amy) and he struggles to cope with the break-up, considering he has dedicated his life to the theory. It is rare that an episode in a series will be as good, if not better, than the first, but this week’s episode disproves the theory, as it was packed with hilarity and possessed solid storylines.

The Big Bang Theory is back after a short break, and it would seem to be all about Sheldon, who – surprise, surprise – is incapable of making decisions. In this episode, Sheldon and Amy debate over whether to purchase a XBOX one or a PS4, Penny is in a state of inner turmoil about whether to accept a role in a sequel to a terrible ape movie, Bernadette does something silly and Raj has two dates. No, the last one is real, promise.
