Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned this week with a jaw-dropping, action filled and heart wrenching episode to kick off season two. Lets start with the two negatives, since its 95% positive: Skye’s new haircut doesn’t suit her and we are told nothing about these new recruits and why we should trust them, since one of them seems only in it for the money.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned this week with a jaw-dropping, action filled and heart wrenching episode to kick off season two. Lets start with the two negatives, since its 95% positive: Skye’s new haircut doesn’t suit her and we are told nothing about these new recruits and why we should trust them, since one of them seems only in it for the money. by Leah Stone This week’s episode was like a Hustle special of Doctor Who. Did you ever think The Doctor would be a criminal? No? This week’s episode will prove you wrong. by Leah Stone The last few episodes of The 100 have been intense. Events have escalated between the main group and the Grounders, and last week war was postponed as Raven blew up the bridge between the camps. This week, we start off with another major problem: A fire that wipes out all of the food supply, leaving Finn and Clarke to go hunting. by Leah Stone In this week’s episode of Doctor Who, we landed in the ‘mythical’ tale of Robin Hood. Taken at the request of Clara, who has loved the tale of Robin Hood since she was a child, the Doctor remains adamant that he is not real, even after meeting him in 1160 (or thereabouts). by Leah Stone Last week’s episode received mixed reviews amongst fans and critics alike, with Peter Capaldi putting on a good show as a Doctor with both humour and determination, alongside a hint of darkness. This week we see the Doctor get as close to a Dalek as you can possibly get: Actually inside it. by Leah Stone Loosely based on the Arthurian legends of Merlin and King Arthur (think Lancelot, knights of the round table, that sort of thing), Merlin ran from September 2008 until December 2012 and quickly became one of the most popular shows in the UK. However, in typical fashion, the BBC broke everyone’s hearts by ending the show and getting rid of any ability to pick the show back up again at a later date. How can we tell? It ended with Merlin in the modern era wandering along a road searching for the next King Arthur. But what exactly made it so popular? by Leah Stone With Doctor Who returning on the 23rd of August, featuring the new 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Louise-Coleman), we decided to put together a very informative list of some of the greatest Doctor Who villains of all time. by Leah Stone This week, matters on the Ark become even more dramatic, and things on the ground change as Raven successfully makes her landing. Yes, matters on the Ark had been ruining the flow of surface matters, as it was never as fast-paced and engrossing as the ground. However this week, things start to get serious on the Ark. by Leah Stone The 100 most certainly has potential. We are introduced to the Ark, a huge space station above the earth’s atmosphere, the floating home of the remnants of the human race. Clarke Griffins is one of the titular 100, a group of teens who cannot be sentenced to death for being under age (any crime, no matter how small, is punishable by death) who get sent to earth 100 years before predicted to see if it is suitable to live on. |
