Well, that was a dramatic end to the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. What an absolutely amazing season it has been. I could try and write a synopsis for all of the madness that has occurred over the past 22 episodes, but that would be boring. Plus that isn’t the point of this article. Let’s just say; The two part season finale is pretty much the definition of this season. Action fuelled, arse-kicking awesomeness!

Marvel often excel at expanding their cinematic universe, especially when it comes to crossing between the various teams. It allows them to develop the story of individual characters and help build the world that exists outside of the films. Well, usually they are, this week seemed like a bit of a disappointment.

We are quickly approaching the end of this season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and in some places it has been so hard to keep up. So much has happened, so many plot twists, so many action sequences, emotional moments and kick-ass story lines. We come to this episode being unable to tell where everyone's allegiances lie. The tension is palpable as the episode builds to a thrilling climax. by Leah Stone Since the mid-season finale, the quality of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes has gone downhill, there’s no way around it. The first half of the series was very strong, exploring the powers of the obelisk and Skye’s change. But now the action has dropped off, the plot lacks any real depth and the new characters we are introduced to are weak. by Leah Stone You know a show is good when you are faced with the task of writing a review but have to rewrite the introduction five times because everything you write doesn’t seem to do the show justice. Well that’s it, after sixteen episodes, The 100 series two is over. To say that it was an emotional rollercoaster is perhaps one of the biggest understatements in history. We saw Finn slaughter innocent grounders, we’ve seen Clarke kill the man she loves and we’ve seen Lincoln struggle through withdrawing from the reaper drug. We’ve seen teenagers drilled to death for their bone marrow, one of the most touching kisses and the biggest betrayal. With all of this doom and gloom, why do we still watch it? by Leah Stone If The 100 was a regular show, there would be an episode that calmed things down, preparing you for the hectic and action-packed finale. There would be a bit of build up, but not too much going on so that it wouldn’t have a chance of overshadowing what is promising to be an explosive ending. by Hayley Charlesworth and Leah Stone Another fantastic episode of The 100 aired in the UK last night, and what an episode it was. The series may well be one of the best post-apocalyptic shows of all time, following a group of humans, nicknamed “Sky People” as they try to return to earth after being stuck in a Space Station for generations after a nuclear war wreaked havoc on the planet below. I’m With Geek was fortunate enough to get an interview with the creator, executive producer and writer of the show, Jason Rothenberg. The first half was posted a few weeks and now we are pleased to announce the second half of this brilliant interview. If you have yet to watch the latest episode, please be warned SPOILERS LOOM! by Leah Stone The 100 has been going from strength to strength, with brilliant and entertaining plots, in-depth character development, action, excitement and a never-ending feeling of anticipation. by Leah Stone There comes a point in every show where it feels like it has reached the pinnacle of perfection. Last week's episode of The 100 felt like that high-point had been achieved, only to keep ascending this episode. |
