There are only three more episodes of Agent Carter to go before the series finishes. So far the story has been good, taking off quicker than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and keeping to a tighter schedule to cut down on fluff episodes. Overall, the show has been enjoyable thus far, and this week is no exception.
We are also shown the potential origin story for everyone’s favourite assassin, Black Widow (in the comics, she’s a LOT older than she looks!). Dottie continues to create an air of intrigue, as she sneaks around Carter’s apartment. We are also treated to a flashback at the outset of the episode to a group of Russian girls training to become weapons, with heavy implications that one of them is Dottie.
The series so far has been a thoroughly enjoyable, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the pacing going. This week’s episode didn’t lose its impetus, and the revelations made by various characters during the show promise for a nail biting final three episodes. The brevity of the series has helped keep the writers on tight form, and it really shows in the final product.
