The film charts the continuing success of movie star Vincent and his lads who happen to be his entourage as well (that’s where the title comes from, unknowing folks). At the centre of the film is another movie directed by Vince that has gone $15 million over budget and sees the gang try to get the funds by talking to billionaire Larsen McCredle and his son Travis. There is a lot of carefree shenanigans going on behind the scenes and Ari, the closest of friends is trying to be a movie producer with the funds too.
There is always trepidation when encountering a television to movie and for someone out of the initial Entourage loop, I cannot express doubts that fans may have. That being said, the plot seems a little confusing and the trailer is full of masculine energy that isn’t entirely enthralling. Pivon is great, as always as is the rest of the cast. But from here, it all looks a little too forced to be likeable.
Entourage is out 19th of June 2015
