Before I Go To Sleep revolves around a woman who, since her late twenties and an accident, cannot retain any memories. Every time she awakens, she finds herself having to relive the memories and her slightly exasperated husband has to go over the past twenty so years together to remind her. When, however, she starts getting new treatment from a doctor; she finds that there is something worse going on behind the scenes and the people she loved may be playing a darker game.
See, when the first trailer was released and the images too, it seemed like Before I Go To Sleep was going to be an interesting and scary thriller, taut and ripe with complex plot and intrigue. While it is relying on not giving too much away, and understandably, the clips shouldn’t reveal too much away, it just seems like a step backwards to show two rather naff and dull things. One, because we already know that Firth and Kidman are going to pull off some stellar acting. Two, this is a thriller not a drama, you need that punt of excitement to go inject interest in audiences. So yes, here is another yawn filled clip for you to “meh” at.
