We have a trailer for the new film, '71 for you all to take a look at. The film, set in 1971 (funnily enough), follows a young English soldier as he is unitentionally left behind by his unit after a riot in Belfast.
Toted as an "historical action thriller", the trailer certainly doesn't fail to deliver on those fronts; the historical influence of the unrest between Ireland and Britain during that period is heavy and in some respects grants the trailer a certain amount of grit and realism.
Street warfare is shown in abundence, as Jack O'Connell, the main character, tries to survive the streets of Belfast. Gunfights and chases are commonplace and if anything, this might show what kind of pace the movie might follow; expect a gripping, fast paced and tense story of survival then?
