There is something about Spy that has me excited. The comedy seems on point and rather than McCarthy being overzealous and loud, she seems stripped back, astute and hilarious like her popular Mike and Molly television series. There’s a lot of fun to be had and the trailer is enticing, seeming like a stark detraction from Tammy or Identity Theft. Spy look great and extremely well put together and this reporter hopes that people will look forward to it, placing McCarthy up high again.
