The film revolves around Adam Qasim, a “charismatic terrorist” who escapes from MI5 custody and the head of the Counter-Terrorism Unit, Harry Pearce, gets blamed for it. Forced to resign, it all gets a little bit more sinister when Harry disappears completely. Will Holloway is brought in and as they head to Moscow, they figure out more of their agents have gone completely rogue….
For fans of the show, which to be fair is a British institution, the movie outing is going to be so amazing, especially with the addition of the rugged Kit Harrington. But the problems still stand, is there anything here that sets it apart from the forumulaic spy genre? If so, they are holding that special something close to their chest.
