There is no time for settling down. Not after the Avengers are high kicking their way back into our lives. The movie franchise, spurned from Marvel Comics and following the highly successful (yet oddly named) Avengers Assemble, lands back into our cinemas soon. We are besides ourselves with so much geeky excitement that it’s almost a struggling to get through this. Almost.
Do I need to tell you the plot? Because I’m pretty sure you’ve got it by now. Tony builds an army of robots only to be surprised when one becomes super self-aware with a super sexy James Spader voice. Cue a mission to save the whole Earth that reunites our heroes who’ve been romping across the galaxy to the sound of a whole lot of pant wetting for us geeks worldwide.
Now a brand new TV spot has landed in our laps. What you’d expect is much of the same and you’ll be gloriously wrong. This is a TV spot with brand new footage that not only makes us so excited our hearts are going to fall out of our arsehole, but is epic all at the same time. There is a lot more of Hawkeye which is a pleasure to see. And here’s a monologue by favourite Tony Stark. And more Quicksilver being a cocky Russian. And that EPIC slo-motion jump sequence that we absolutely don’t picture when making love to our respective partners.
