Following on from the success (and expense) of the Sherlocked convention, the BBC have announced something incredibly exciting for Whovian’s globally. Yes, hold on to your TARDIS' (TARDII?), we’re going through a journey of time and space because the company, the creatives and the cast have come together to create this year’s hotly anticipated convention who Whovians everywhere. Yes. Forget LFCC, forget MCM, this November will see the official Doctor Who Festival.
But you don’t just want famous people and exceptional writers, right? No. This festival has a lot more to offer. You can have your photo taken on an actual set of series 9. You can see a great selection of costumes and props from the latest series. You can learn the secrets and techniques from the actors as you attend a Doctor Who Drama School. There will fan challenges throughout the day for both adult and young visitors. You can buy a whole heap of merchandise. Or you can meet the crew and learn about the production. And on top of that? Cosplayers can show off their best Doctor Who costumes. What an incredible event thanks to BBC.
Whilst looking at ticket prices will make your wallet groan, there is something about this festival that is not to be missed. Because frankly, it’ll be …(altogether now)…FANTASTIC!
