Will, Graham and Josh have been playing Batman: Arkham Origins. It’s more or less the same as the other two games in the series, with the exception that it’s not as good.
Sarah has been watching Orange is the New Black and Doctor Who. She thinks they’re both great.
We’ve also all been to see Thor: The Dark World and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the bits at the University of Greenwich. We talk about lifts too.
The news got lost in editing, so to make up for it, have some relaxing music, whilst we highlight what we discussed.
Ben Kingsley has been in talks with Disney and Marvel for a secret project. Could it be the Mandarin will be making a return? Or maybe it will be something completely different?
Trailers for X-men Days of Future Past and Captain America: Winter Soldier have been released, we liked them and spent a lot of time discussing them.
Finally, we are proud to announce that we have a forum. It’s not been released to the public yet. But keep your eyes peeled for any updates.
Sticking with Superheroes. We watched Batman (1989). The long and the short of it is, The Dark Knight was better.
We also choose Nightmare on Elm Street as our next film. Will we be scared? Who knows.
Sarah answers hers and Will gives us this little doozy;
The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting. That's pride fucking with you. Fuck pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.
We start a new challenge for listeners and guests this week. If you at home can get a higher score than any of the three hosts (Graham, Will or Sarah) then they will be subjected to a punishment of your choosing (Dun dun duuuuuuuun). You can gain points from guests who appear on the Elevator Pitch, guessing the quote above and finding shorter links between the Six Degrees we set each other, as well as guessing your own. Good luck to you all.
The points currently stand at this:
Graham and Will: 15
So come along, and do your best to unseat us.
No problems in answering our challenges from last time. This time we’ve got these ones to do.
Will: Steve Coogan - Charlton Heston
Graham: Alyson Hannigan - Martin Freeman
Sarah: Joshua Jackson - Russell Brand
And for you at home, we’d like you to link Ralph Maschio to Doris Roberts. Answers on a postcard please. Then take a photo of the postcard and post it in the comments or send it to email@example.com, you’re on the internet, you fool.
That’s all for this time. We’ll be back in two weeks with another barrel of goodness.
Outro music was composed by Rob Harman, find his music here, and his Facebook page here, check him out.
