On Sunday evening the next game in the Call Of Duty franchise was revealed. Titled Black Ops 3, the game will feature a new campaign which will include a new co-op mode, not seen since World At War. As part of this campaign, you'll also be able to customise the main protagonist's appearance and select a gender which should finally allow the franchise to join the Twenty-first Century.

Returning to the franchise is the Zombies game mode that players know and love. Little has been given away on this game mode but it will include its own XP system like that of the multiplayer side and will likely feature Easter eggs for gamers to complete.
As always, to top it off, the multiplayer will return once again with new weapons, maps and some new features such as the ability to wall run; something gamers who have played the game Titanfall will be familiar with. There are also different classes to choose from which will change the outcome of online games, a couple of these classes have been revealed but more classes are set to be revealed as the release date edges closer.
Furthermore it was revealed that if you pre-order the game, you'll be able to get your hands on a code to play a multiplayer beta, which again is something we haven't seen since World At War, take a look at the trailer below.

Call of Duty certainly seems intent on focussing on future warfare for the time being. The franchise has certainly come a long way since its days as a WWII shooter.
