Recently, photos have emerged online showing the only ship to make the Kessel Run in under twelve parsecs at a former RAF airbase in Berkshire, England.
Taken by a pilot taking publicity shots for his flying school, they show a model of Han Solo’s ship and a covered up X-Wing.
Recently, photos have emerged online showing the only ship to make the Kessel Run in under twelve parsecs at a former RAF airbase in Berkshire, England.
Taken by a pilot taking publicity shots for his flying school, they show a model of Han Solo’s ship and a covered up X-Wing.
There have been hints of the Millennium Falcon appearing in the Star Wars Episode VII in the past, with JJ Abrams tweeting a photo lamenting previous leaks whilst showing the ship’s hologame table at the same time.
It’s not exactly unsurprising to see the ship making an appearance, with the inclusion of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher returning, along with Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, many might say that it was a foregone conclusion, but the appearance of a model (at least, half of one) allows some speculation for what may come. Of some note is the new paint job that the ship has received, will Leia’s influence on Han mean that he’s tidied up a bit and improved the interior from the bucket of bolts that we loved in the original films?
We’ll have to wait for the film’s release in December of next year to find out.
