I can hear you all moaning already. Yes, despite the constant box office success and the 5th film’s positive reaction, there are many people who still hate and/or refuse to watch The Fast and the Furious series. Understandable, I suppose. Not everyone is interested in cars. But I’ve only seen this one and the first film (which I quite like as well), and I have to say, this is the superior entry in the series.
Missing the star of the series, Paul Walker, an Alabama teen named Sean Boswell must move in with his father in Japan in order to avoid an American prison sentence. Quickly making both friends and enemies, Sean finds himself becoming a major competitor in the world of drift racing, something he’s always dreamed of.

As soon as the tyres hit the road, the race scenes in the movie become a barrel of entertainment. As much as I like the way they indulge in the character’s stories and add a serious tone to the film, it’s the races that really grab me, they were an adrenaline builder that really pumped the action.
But the best thing about the film however is the soundtrack. Oh man, even if you don’t want to watch the film, just go on YouTube and find that soundtrack, because it is quality. I always find myself bopping my head to many of the songs and they work especially well in the film, fitting perfectly with many scenes.
So overall, I can’t guarantee you’ll love this film. I can’t guarantee you’ll even like it. But I think it should be considered and appreciated none the less, for its killer car chases, beautiful scenery and awesome soundtrack!
