The anticipation is almost too much to bear for the third instalment of The Hunger Games as we are given the first proper trailer for Mockingjay Part 1. Oh yes, if you didn't already know they are splitting the last book into two parts - double the excitement!
After being thrown into the arena, not once but twice it's hard to believe Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) still has the energy to save those she loves, Nevermind herself. Yet for those who have already read the book and from what we see in this clip, she is very much ready to fight for what is rightfully hers. Of course, it is down to rebellion leaders Coin (Julianne Moore), Beetee (Jeffery Wright) and Plutarch (Philip Seymour Hoffman) to assess if Katniss is, indeed, well enough to lead the rebellion. Whilst they sit calm and collective (well for a revolution anyway) we see President Snow not so Zen and bans the use of the Mockingjay symbol across the districts.
Keeping hold of director Francis Lawrence, this appears to have the same sinister tone and aesthetics Catching Fire possessed. Currently in post-production, expected to swoop into cinemas 21st November, 2014. I don't know about you but even the music gives me goose bumps, Nevermind actually seeing the trailer! Let us know if you are ready to fight in the revolution. The Mockingjay Lives!!
