However, there is now a chance to see the film a day early on June 5th during the ‘The Night Before our Stars’ event. Fans were delighted to hear that author John Green would make an on-screen appearance when his popular novel would be adapted to film, although they were then let down slightly to hear that his scene has been cut from the final version of the film after he admitted, “It was totally unnecessary to the movie, slash I was terrible.”
But do not fear, as now it has been revealed that Green’s scene will be part of ‘The Night Before our Stars’ event, an opportunity for fans to view his scene and the movie the night before it opens. Purchase includes the largest live simulcast experience featuring Woodley, Elgort, Nat Wolff, Green, director Joshua Boone and Producer Wyck Godfrey. The audiences will enjoy live musical performances from Birdy, and Nat and Alex Wolff, as well as a commemorative charm bracelet and poster of the film to take home with them.
‘The Night Before our Stars’ will take place on June 5th 8:30pm Eastern / 7:30pm Central / 6:30pm Mountain / 5:30pm Pacific, ahead of the film’s opening in theaters everywhere on June 6th. Tickets to this special event are on sale now.
