Senn is an upcoming cerebral science fiction movie “about a lowly line worker on Pyom, a world forgotten even by the corporation that owns it. Strange phenomena begin to threaten his job, relationships and very existence. As his situation reaches its breaking point, an enigmatic alien intelligence suddenly appears from nowhere. With Senn’s sanity hanging in the balance, he and his lover, Kana, escorted by their peculiar alien host journey light years away to the Polychronom, an ancient object that has chosen him from across the stars. Their only hope is for Senn to fulfill a mysterious purpose that may change the very nature of civilization.”
The trailer shows a brief look into this dystopian world and manages to give us just enough intrigue to pull us into the story. The trouble with many trailers today is that you have already basically seen the film by the time the trailer has ended, however this is not the case with Senn. I am incredibly interested to see how the story pans out.
It is obvious that Senn isn’t your traditional science fiction movie, in that we are just going to be bombarded with aliens and explosions, the film makers drew inspiration from North Korean prison camps to influence the world that their characters now find themselves in and it is interesting to see films that are using real life situations, and ones that aren’t necessarily the most talked about, as starting points for their plots.
This film has certainly got my attention and I am very interested to see the final version.
