looking pretty good doing it I must say! With filming for Batman VS Superman now under-way, fans
are finally treated to their first glimpse of Clark Kent in full Daily Planet incognito mode.
With a dark shirt, tie and trousers ensemble, a mid-length brown jacket and a well-placed shoulder
bag, our intrepid reporter is looking distinctly more chic than geek these days, however in twenty-
first century metrosexual metropolis - and where blending into the background is key - a much
more stylish approach is likely to turn a few heads without arousing suspicion. The infamous
glasses are nowhere to be seen though. Fingers crossed he’s just popped them away between
scenes.
Sadly, this snap doesn’t catch our star in action. Instead he’s busy promoting 664Challenge - a
grueling challenge in which Royal Marines Commandos will ski, sail, cycle, canoe and run over
four thousand miles to celebrate and promote the true heroes saving lives off-screen!!
Another little Superman snippet making waves this week is that the already teaming cast has
gained another new addition - Scoot McNairy will be joining the DC mega-movie although there
hasn’t been any word on exactly what character he’ll be playing…!
Seeing as many headline names; Batman, Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman and Aquaman are already
taken, speculation is rife about which DC mantle McNairy will be taking on. There’s a lot of
whispers that McNairy would be the new Green Lantern - hitting the reset button after the 2011
disaster - helping to fight the good fight.
Although with the caped-crusader camp looking a little full of late, many have been wondering
whether the Argo star has turned to the dark side. With Superman’s arch rival Lex Luthor taking
centre stage for the opposition, is it possible that he could enlist the help of Batman’s equally
infamous foe The Joker to help aid the chaos? Or will he prove to be a re-imagining of a different
enemy altogether?
