Potterheads, grab your wands, send letters to your wizarding friends, change into your robes and pack your trunk; we are back off into the wizarding world. Well, more precisely, New York. Yes, that’s right, there is going to be another Harry Potter film. But it’s not a sequel or a prequel, but based on the text book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, by Newt Scamander, as a part of a whole new film series. The Potterheads are coming back fighting, a few years since the last film release. They’ve waited for this day to come, trying to stay sane with the thought that perhaps the Wizarding World would not return. But we’ve done our waiting, 2 years of it, in emotional trauma.
Of course, she is in partnership with Warner Brothers, who produced all of the eight Harry Potter films previous to this one. It was in fact Warner Brothers who pitched the idea to Rowling, who, put off by the thought of someone else writing the script when she knew the characters so well herself, decided to make this film her screenwriting debut.
Of course, it’s unlikely that Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) or Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) will return for this film. However, other members of the Harry Potter cast have let it be known that they would love to take part in the new film.
