Its been a long and torturous wait but thankfully the wait is almost over. The eagerly anticipated sequel, How To Train Your Dragon 2, will take audiences back to Berk and reunites us with Hiccup and everyone's favourite dragon Toothless.

For Dreamworks, who have not had the best track record with sequels, (Shrek The Third and Shrek Forever After) a lot is riding on the famous dragon movie. With the original considered the studios most accomplished work, the stakes are high. Luckily. director Dean DeBlois has pulled out all the stops and produced a fantastic sequel that will not disappoint fans.

Jersey Boys - Review

Film is more and more providing blueprints and inspiration for stage-shows. Dirty Dancing, The Body Guard and more have all used a films mass appeal to convert to the stage. In the case of Jersey Boys, the 2005 stage-show is the inspiration for the new film which charts the rise of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

We meet a young Frankie Valli, (John Lloyd Young) who lives a simple life in New Jersey. Along with his petty criminal friends Tommy, (Vincent Piazza) and Nick, (Michael Lomenda) the boys form a band led by Valli's impressive vocals. Only when the group links with writer Bob Guadio, (Erich Bergen) do the boys form The Four Seasons and hit the big time. With success comes resentment, creative differences and betrayal that threatens to destroy the boys hard work and friendship.

Everyone knows the myth of the Werewolf.

Beastly creatures that change on the full moon once bitten by another. Driven by the need for human flesh and only killed by a silver stake through the heart. The newer take on the Lycan suggests more control over their transformation, but still as deadly. If the codes and conventions of these films are so easily recognised then how can you possibly bring something new to the genre? With the independent film Ginger Snaps, the filmmakers have done just that while telling the story of its two teenage protagonists.

In the new film by newcomer director Ryan Coogler, the death of 22-year old Oscar Grant by Bart police officers is explored in a highly fueled and moving portrayal of one man and his last day. Michael B. Jordan plays Grant, as he goes about his life on New Year’s Day, before he is shot by police, while unarmed in 2009.

In the newcomer director's first feature film, audiences get an accomplished film that portrays the tragic events of one single day and the abuse of power from American law enforcement. The film stars Octavia Spencer and Michael B. Jordan in a role that solidifies him as a talented leading man.

For this month’s Movies in Motion, we look at a new take on a classic story and the winner of the 2008 Academy Award for Best Animated Short: the beautiful Peter and the Wolf by Suzie Templeton.

Edge of Tomorrow - Review

What do you get if you mix War of the Worlds and Groundhog Day in a high concept science fiction film? That's right, Edge of Tomorrow. It is the latest offering from Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman.

Here, Cruise plays a Major who gets caught in the fight against the invading aliens when he gains the power to reset the day every time he dies.

Hit Stop: I, Frankenstein

What happened to the monster after Victor Frankensteins death?

According to this graphic novel adaptation he gets caught up in a war between Heavens Gargoyles and Hells Demons. In a film that aims to be the next Underworld trilogy, Aaron Eckhart plays the centuries old monster who battles to stop the secrets of his creation falling into the wrong hands. Although the film is clearly not meant to be taken seriously its a tragic example of iconic characters being spun off miserably.
