The film, based on the Marvel comic of the same name, was recently revealed to have a stellar ensemble cast, including:
- Ryan Potter voices the lead character Hiro Hamada, who has the mind of a genius but the heart of a 14 year old boy
- Scott Adsit, famous for playing Pete Hornberger on 30 Rock, voices Baymax, a robot designed for healthcare, and Hiro’s best frien
- T.J. Miller, who has also lent his voice to How to Train your Dragon 2, plays laidback fanboy Fred
- Jamie Chung voices the aptly named Go Go Tomago, who knows what it takes to be fast
- Former Happy Endings star Daman Wayons Jr. voices Wasabi, an intelligent but neurotic friend of Hiro
- Maya Rudolph, star of Bridesmaids, voices Aunt Cass, the overworked but always supportive guardian of Hiro and Tadashi.
- And Alan Tudyk, a favourite amongst geeks, plays Alistair Krei, pioneer entrepreneur and tech guru.
The film also stars Daniel Henny, James Cromwell and Genesis Rodriguez.
When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding on the streets of San Fransokyo, robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada assembles his closest friends and transforms them into a group of high tech heroes in order to solve the mystery.
Big Hero 6 is out in 3D on November 27th
