The Royals have always been a subject of awe and curiosity for both the British people and for people around the world. With the fascination surrounding little Prince George of Cambridge’s birth last July, and of the marriage of his parents ‘Kate and Wills’, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on the 29th April 2011, there seems to be nothing that the young royals can do without it being covered by the press. Every part of their lives is constantly under a magnifying glass, exposed to the public and received largely by love and an unfailing respect for the couple and their little baby boy. It seems, due to recent news, that the family’s dog Lupo is no different!

Click for Image Source Début author Aby King, 38, has written a series of children’s books devoted to the black cocker spaniel, and the four-book set are due to be released in sequence after the first in September of this year, titled Lupo and the Secret of Windsor Castle. With its targeted audience of 9 to 11-year-olds, the series is sure to have a great interest due to the public’s admiration for Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, and it would not be surprising to be an instant hit with both younger and older audiences alike. The books are said to be influenced by King’s own spaniel Lilly, and they detail the adventures of Lupo the royal pup in the palace and the gardens of the famous Windsor Castle, which is where Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Philip of Edinburgh reportedly spend their weekends.
Click for Image Source Members of the family, including the Queen, William, Kate and George are said to make appearances in Lupo’s books, but the focus is primarily on the spaniel’s ventures in the castle.
Continuing the love affair the world has with the British royals, along with the books, King has trademarked Lupo for toys and additional merchandise too.
One can only wonder how famous these books will be as a bedtime story for children worldwide!
