Click for Source Image It was released recently that the audio-book for the sixth and final book in The Mortal Instruments Series would be voiced by Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) and Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars).
The Mortal Instruments series is a Young Adult fantasy series by Cassandra Clare, following the life of Clary Fray and her friends as she discovers the world is not all as it seems. Clary gets thrust into a world of Shadowhunters and Downworlders, with unexpected enemies conspiring against her at every turn! City of Heavenly Fire will be the last book released in The Mortal Instruments, following its predecessors City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, and City of Lost Souls.
City of Heavenly Fire is widely anticipated by the fans, and the news of the audio-book voice actors are yet another reason (of many!) to get excited for the Young Adult series’ epic finale this May. Every person who is following this story is patiently waiting on Cassandra Clare’s final instalment, wondering what will happen to all of our beloved characters. Who will die? Who will survive? What will become of the Shadowhunter world after the impending destruction and Sebastian’s promise of “I’m Coming”? Will Sebastian finally be defeated? Can Clary and Jace survive yet more, unnecessary turmoil? What relevance will the Infernal Devices cameo have? These are the questions which fans are desperately awaiting the answers to.
The future is looking bright for the audio-books of the Best-Selling series in general, and with the publication date fast approaching at the end of this month, everyone here at IWG Books and also fans everywhere else over the world could not be any more excited (and also of course NERVOUS) about the ending of an era!
