Literature is a powerful thing, and in the correct hands it can dare to access the true nature of humanity, to lay it bare and assess it for all to see. Tamar Cohen is a skilled author who takes real problems that people face in their lives and displays these issues in her books, with her characters becoming incredibly rich and layered through their unfortunate experiences.

Cohen’s first novel is where her talents first raised the heads of the somewhat scathing (at times) British public with success in abundance. The Mistress’s Revenge was published in 2011 and she has currently released a book every year since, with her most recent book The Broken being released TODAY! (look out below for details of how to order your own copy). Sally is a very unhappy lady, as her lengthy affair with Clive has ended abruptly, with him explaining that he wants to work on his marriage, and that she should also work on her own. Assume what you will, Sally would tell you, but there’s more to this situation than meets the eye. You will have to grab a copy of this to find out more!
Along with The Mistress’s Revenge, Cohen’s remaining books The War of the Wives (2012), Someone Else’s Wedding (2013) and of course the newest instalment The Broken (2014) have all been published by Doubleday. Are you going to grab yourself a Tamar Cohen book or two? I certainly hope so. There will be good reading to come of it, I promise!
